ADC Celebrates Rochester Chamber Membership with Ribbon Cutting
To celebrate its newest office and recent membership with the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce, the African Development Center of Minnesota was proud to hold a Ribbon Cutting celebration on Friday, June 17th. This event was held at the Rochester location and well attended by Chamber members, local businesses and organizations, local newspaper and television reporters, as well as Minnesota’s Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie.
This new office officially opened less than three months ago and ADC is extremely excited for this opportunity to celebrate all of the new opportunities and relationships that it have come in that time. Of the most impactful of these, is the budding relationship with the Rochester Area Chamber of commerce. Recently gaining membership in this organization, ADC looks forward with great anticipation to the many projects and initiatives that have begun to be discussed, regarding partnerships and initiatives for community economic development for all residents of the Rochester Area.
Rochester has been one of the primary cities ADC has been working in since 2008, and this new office will not only continue this relationship, but cement new and more effective ways in which ADC can better assist the African communities of this area to start and sustain successful businesses, build wealth, and promote community reinvestment.
