African Development Center

We encourage all to check out a piece that recently aired on CNN’s Inside Africa, which highlights staff, clients, and friends of the African Development Center, as well as other leaders within the Somali-American community in Minneapolis. In this piece, the African Development Center is featured as a facility for growth, development, and progress. ADC’s Business Development Director Hussein Farah, speaks on the mission, work, and impact of the organization. The story also profiles ADC supporter Zuhur Ahmed, and highlights her effort to give a voice to the struggles, concerns, and successes of the Somali community in Minnesota. Zuhur, a producer for a Somali show on the KFAI Community Radio station, is a long-time friend of the organization. The piece also features Jamal Hashi, an ADC client and community organizer who is known for his innovative fast food take on East African cuisine.
