Ibsa joined ADC® as a Loan Officer/Business Advisor, bringing more than 20 years of experience in business advisory , financial management and grant management services. Prior to joining ADC®, he worked at African Economic Development Solutions (AEDS) as a Business Advisor, supporting client recruitment and outreach, providing technical assistance, developing financial projections, and contributing to the implementation and reporting of youth-focused projects.
In his role at ADC®, Ibsa works closely with clients to assess their business needs, provide financial and business guidance, and support entrepreneurs in building sustainable and successful businesses. He is passionate about helping small businesses and entrepreneurs access the resources, knowledge, and financial support they need to grow.
Previously, Ibsa held various finance and grant management positions with international NGOs and donor organization, including the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), where he served as a Project Finance Officer in a managerial capacity for more than ten years. His experience includes financial planning, partner capacity assessment, grant compliance, budgeting, reporting, and providing technical support and training to implementing partners.
Ibsa holds an MBA from the International Leadership Institute, a BA in Accounting from Mekelle University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from HiLCoE in Ethiopia. He speaks English, Afaan Oromo and Amharic.
