Luis Mendoza

Luis has a strong background in Community Lending with a passion for helping BIPOC and underserved communities build wealth through business ownership. He currently works at MCCD as a Senior Business Advisor and Loan Officer, guiding and coaching entrepreneurs to achieve their goals. Previously, he worked as a Community Loan Officer and Underwriter and has also served in the nonprofit sector as a Homeownership Advisor and Business Advisor. 

Luis holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from the Universidad de Guadalajara (Mexico) and will graduate in February 2026 with an MBA from Concordia University, Saint Paul. His work is driven by a deep commitment to economic equity and empowering small businesses to succeed.
